With over 10,000sqft of flexible space, Kings Heath Community Centre welcomes you. In the heart of Kings Heath, you and your guests will benefit from all the facilities and features to make your event a success. Our hall and rooms are available to hire by the hour, the half-day or the day.
Note that, for events over 70 guests, the whole centre has to be booked at a rate of £70 per hour.

Main Hall
Uniquely generous in its proportions, our main hall is the place for a 7th or a 70th birthday party, a martial arts showcase, drag queen story time, or sixty children chasing footballs.

Central lounge
Looking for something cozier? Our lounge is perfect for small group classes, workshops, meetings or interviews.

Function room
A versatile room, the function room provides space to move around, perfect for exercise classes. The addition of tables and chairs allows for a fluid setup for mid-sized workshops, focus groups and training events.

Foyer
As you enter the community centre, you step into our welcoming foyer. This informal, laid-back space fosters easy conversations, perfect for community events. The kitchen opens directly onto it, lending itself to various uses for your private function, and exciting options for local caterers.
Kitchen and serving bar
Our commercial kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to prepare food for your guests: a six-burner stove, a double oven, a microwave oven, an automatic hot water boiler dispenser in addition to a kettle, and two large sinks.
A separate, sizable serving bar connects to the central lounge and function room, with three individual sinks and plenty of counter space to work with.

Frequently asked questions
Do you have a PA system?
No, we do not have a sound system. You are more than welcome to bring your own for events.
Would I have access to kitchen facilities?
Yes, we have a functional kitchen that can be used during events.
Can I hire the Community Centre for weekly classes?
Yes you can, we ask that you pay monthly and sign a 12 month hire agreement. The first class we let you run at a discounted price.
Do you have an alcohol license?
Yes, you can consume alcohol on the premise but not sell it.
